“Wonderful Coffee”

Following the political transition the touristic boost and the free flow of goods implicated the increase of the quality services of restaurants and hotels and accordingly the frequent consumption of premium coffees. A new profession arose in Hungary with the objective of the promotion of the relish and culture of premium coffees. As a spectacular result of the development process the Hungarian Barista Championship was established. At the already 7^th Hungarian Barista Championship in 2011 the competition contained the events like Latte Art, Good Spirit, Cezve/Ibrik and Cup Testing.

The actors of the coffee market recognized by now the essential meaning of common approach, common marketing and pooling for the continuous development and these led tot launch of the Hungarian Coffee Company by coffee roasters, retailers of roasted coffee, coffee experts.

The 2^nd Coffee Exhibition – named „Wonderful Coffee – including the 7^th Hungarian Barista Championship at the end of March 2011 was organized by the Company on the basis of the above mentioned common intention. The event offered the possibility for the comprehensive introduction of the actors, retailers and consumer of the Hungarian coffee market.

In order to facilitate the successful organization of these events the Hungarian Coffee Company Ltd. was founded to organize, coordinate and promote the events and the quality coffee consumption.
